Miss Joanne Parkes | Head of Academy at Kents Hill Junior School

Kents Hill Junior School website

Here at Kents Hill Junior School, we want to ensure that all of our children can see themselves represented in our curriculum and, in particular, the texts that we read. We strongly believe in providing our children with exciting, creative and diverse learning experiences which build their enthusiasm for education and help them to grow positively as Global Citizens.

We are  proud of the team-work with children and staff within the school. Everyone is encouraged to recognise and value their own achievements and those of others. It is our expectation that all individuals will be polite and friendly, with an approachable and respectful attitude. We are delighted to be the first school in Essex to launch the ‘Kindness Matters’ project. This focuses on kindness to ourselves, peers, at home, the wider community and the environment.

We will strive to create the best education for our children whilst they are members of our school community and will work hard to ensure that they are safe, happy and achieving well.

Mrs Samantha Murrell | Head of Academy at Lubbins Park Primary Academy and Nursery

Lubbins Park Primary Academy and Nursery website

At Lubbins park Primary we have high expectations of our children and believe that a strong link between school and home is critical in achieving excellence. We are committed to providing every child with the ingredients for success both academically and socially and value the contribution of everyone in our school community. We endeavour to provide opportunities which both challenge and excite with learning at the heart of all that we do.

We have a strong belief that learning should be purposeful and matched to developing individual children’s abilities. We believe that every child is entitled to an education of the highest standard that will enable them to fulfil their individual potential. For this reason our teaching and learning is underpinned by developing resilient, engaged, enthusiastic, reflective, and independent learners.
